Q: What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address or mailing address. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Q: How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

Q: Do we use cookies?

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information).
We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits and keep track of advertisements.

Q: Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Shipping & Returns

Q: Revel Branded products worldwide 

All other products are restricted to the USA only (some exceptions apply, please email sales@revelperformance.com if there is a NON Revel Branded product you are looking for and you are outside of the USA.) 

Q: Exchanges

Exchanges are generally not accepted, however exceptions can be made if necessary, in order to begin an exchange please follow the same process for a return

Q: Standard Shipping Time

All IN-STOCK orders are shipped within 72 business hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Billing and shipping address mismatches may delay shipments. We are unable to ship to a PO box.  A warning is displayed on the cart payment during the payment step on checkout. The warning informs customers that our store does not ship to PO Box addresses. Checkouts with PO box as shipping address will delay or prevent shipping.  If an item is on back-order you will be notified within 24 business hours of your purchase that the item is on back order and what the expected ship date is. If an item is on Back Order we will place the order to be drop shipped directly from the Manufacturer or Distributor after notifying you, at the time we will give you an estimated ship date, in many cases this is 4-6 business days, however can be as much as 30 days. Special Order products can take an additional 2-3 business days.  If the item is expected to be on back order for more than 30 days, you can request a refund, and one will be issued to your form of payment within 48 business hours, and may take up to 30 days to show on your statement depending on your financial institution.

Q: Express Shipping

Delivery is typically next two business days after an order has been processed and shipped. An order that ships out on Thursday with Express shipping delivery should arrive on Friday. An order shipping out on Friday with Express Shipping should arrive on Monday. Your order must be received and processed no later than noon on a business day to be shipped out on the same day. Orders received on weekends or Holidays will be shipped out on the next business day. Some rural locations may incur an extra day. International orders may require 3-5 business days or more of additional processing time.

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders: USPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx, and Canada Post

Q: Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information once we receive notification that the order has shipped. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Q: Shipping Rates

Shipping on most products to the lower 48 states is free. If shipping applies the rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to. International orders will be billed shipping/taxes/duties and any other applicable charges after the purchase of the product is processed. YOUR ITEM WILL NOT SHIP until the additional charges are paid. You will receive an email within 48 hours of purchase with an electronic invoice for the additional charges, this invoice can be paid with Visa, MasterCard or PayPal.

Q: Partial Back Orders

If one of the items you order goes on back order or is not in stock we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment please allow up to 60 days for items on back order to be delivered no refunds on back ordered products will be issued until at least day 61 and may take up to 90 days. If a refund is granted on a partial back ordered purchase only the amount of the back ordered product that has not been shipped will be refunded.

Q: Return/Exchange Policy

Returns may be issued under strict conditions and are applied solely at our discretion. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition and the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all returned or canceled items. All claims must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise. We assume no responsibility for delayed items due to the shipping.

 

How To Return An Item: Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect (in this case all warranty and repair work is to be dealt with through the manufacturer direct). You must return the item within 15 days of your purchase.

 

1. Please email sales@revelperformance.com to request a refund and we will assign you a return merchandise (RMA) Number.

2. We will also inform you on where to ship your product.

3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return along with the original receipt.

Q: Return Exceptions

Some items can not be returned if they are opened. These include electronics, air filters, liquids, and anything that if opened may come into contact with liquids such as oil or gas if installed on the vehicle or application, and anything listed as non-returnable on http://revelperformance.com. Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.  Some product returns cannot be accepted and sales are final, the product description will clearly show this.

Q: Restocking Fee

All items are subject to a 20% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order (often times this is calculated into the price and not shown if this is the case when submitting your return request you may ask to know what the original shipping was and we can tell you).

FAQ

Q: How much harsher is the ride?

Ride is comparable to the OR1 and OR2 stock rides. These links do not affect the ride as long as the heights are within the range of the air ride system.

Q: How do they work?

Our kits replace the stock sensor arms to Billet Aluminum Fully Adjustable Links. When shortened or lengthened, depending on the application, they change the voltage coming from the sensor. This tricks the air ride computer into thinking the vehicle is sitting different then the factory setting thereby lowering it or raising it accordingly. 

Q: Do the other modes still work, OR1, OR2 aero and especially auto-level?

If just leveling, yes all modes will work. If raising the normal height to OR1 or OR2 you would sacrifice one or both or the OR1 or OR2 settings as they will produce air system warnings and/or air ride system failsafe modes. At all times the auto-level entry/exit and aero modes will continue to function.

Q: What is the adjustment range? (can I go less than 2 inches)?

You can set the normal ride height all the way from entry/exit up to OR2. So normal ride height from 0" (stock) all the way to 2.5" (OR2)

Q: Are the rear links needed if I’m just looking to level the truck?

Not per say however we sell as kits of four (front and rear). Lifting the rear or not the adjustable rear links can be used to compensate for any lean issues.

Q: What is the maximum offset that the 19’ 1500 can take with 35’s?

The adjustable links simply allow you to have the trucks normal setting adjusted up into the OR1 or OR2 positions so that the truck will remain there at all times. Max offset would be comparable to non air trucks with suspension lifts.  Check out our Blog Postings to see what our customers have achieved.

Each 3 turns results in a variance of ~1/4". The process to raise or lower is to start with stock lengths and raise/lower in small increments from there. So pop off one end of the link (recommend the frame side) make three full turns (shortening front and lengthening rear or visa versa if lowering), drive around the block and repeat until the desired adjusted normal height is obtained.

Q: Is the process different when combined with Daystar Spacers?

With the Daystars it's a bit of a different operation.  The links need to be shortened to compensate for the lift that the Daystars added.  The distance from the center of link coupler to link coupler for the front links are approx 2.5" for levelling or 2.0" for mild lift.  These are good starting points and smaller adjustments can be made from there as needed.  For additional information refer to Ram Raise with Daystar Spacers.

Q: What is the difference in the level/lift links vs level daystar spacer with links ?

The main difference with using the daystar and links is that the level is achieved with the same volume of air meaning the ride would be the same as stock. With just the links alone more air is added to level the truck yielding a bit more firm a ride. With a Rebel truck or any air ride truck with the factory off road package the daystar combo is the only recommended choice.

Q: As far as the adding the additional rear lift links, what does this accomplish?

In some cases your truck could be slightly nose high following the daystar installation on the front. Lengthening the rear links by 3-6 turns brings the back up and levels the truck

Q: The front links appear to not align properly with an angle on the ball joints, can this be corrected ?

Yes some adjustment can be made by loosening the factory 10 mm bolt that holds the sensor assembly onto the truck.  The alignment can be slightly adjusted one way or the other to make the coupler attachment point angle closer to 90 degrees.  Once adjusted simply re-tighten the bolt, see highlighted image. 

Q: Will these links work on my Ram Rebel with air suspension ?

Since the Rebel Rams (or any air ride truck with the factory off road package) are already lifted from the factory any adjustment higher than ~3/4" in the up direction will result in a harsh ride. It is possible to use the lowering links to drop the rear of your Rebel to achieve an almost level ride, just specify in the notes when ordering the kit that you want the Front lifting and Rear Lowering links. Another better option for the Rebel is to use the front adjustable links in combination with the Daystar Spacers, see FAQ#8 , #9 and #10

Q: Where are the installation instructions, none where included with the kit?

Q: Does this modification affect my warranty ?

As with any vehicle modification there’s a risk to warranty. We have no control over what dealerships may or may not do depending on the failure and if they feel the modified part had anything to do with the failure. If for some strange reason you did have a problem with the air suspension system we recommend you remove the adjustable links and put the stock ones back on. That’s a big advantage of our kits, the vehicle can be restored to stock in under 30 minutes.

Q: Is my vehicle still street legal ?

Strictly speaking, any modification that changes the normal ride height from stock or affects the wheels camber should be considered for “Off Road Use Only”

Q: Do you offer a wholesale program ?

We are strictly a retail store however if you wanted to order in bulk we can offer a 10% discount on orders of five or more. Just email us prior to placing your order for a code.

Q: My links threaded rods are showing signs of rust, should this be happening?

The threads are coated in some oil and are also machined from a nickel alloy.  They should be resistant to corrosion however if the oil is rubbed off during shipping or installation some rust discoloration could possibly appear.  If this is occurring we suggest cleaning up the threads and applying some Fluid Film to them for added protection.
